Our VPN client is supported on Android televisions and Amazon Firesticks.
Android
As of 2022, the best Android televisions were listed on 'Android Headlines' website:
This list is by no means comprehensive but gives you a good idea of the companies making televisions that run the Android operating system.
Amazon Firestick
If you don't have a smart television or you don't like the interface and have opted to get a Firestick, we have you covered.
All versions of the Amazon Firestick are usable with the Patriot VPN application.
Installation
On your Android TV you will need to find the 'Google Play Store' and search for 'Patriot VPN'.
On your Firestick you can search for the application in the native Amazon app store for 'Patriot VPN'.
If for any reason you can't find the application, you can use your TVs web browser and go to https://tinyurl.com/2csxcdsz (shortened URL).
The Amazon Firestick will be able to be discoverable, so no URL is neded.
Install the application on your TV or Firestick, then look for the Patriot VPN icon:
Select the icon and start the client; in the first screen click 'Settings' and put in your username/password:
Once you have your username and password entered, click on the 'Server location' and select the server you want to connect to, then click on the 'Switch On' button:
Once you are connected you can go to your 'home' screen on the TV to select other applications; all applications will be getting their network through the VPN:
To disconnect from the VPN, bring the application back up by clicking on the Patriot VPN icon on your TV and click on 'Switch Off':
Enjoy!
